The Wheel is a short 5-page story first published in the DC anthology "9-11" dealing with the aftermath of the attack. It was later reprinted in The Sandman collections such as The Absolute Death.
Summary[]
In late October 2001, a teenager Matt, who lost his mother in the 9/11 attack, climbs a ferris wheel with the intention to jump off and demand answers from God. There, he meets Destruction and his sister Death, who talk to him for a while, giving him strength to go on with his life.
