The Castle is a short 8-page story originally released as part of the Vertigo Jam #1 anthology, and later included in collections such as The Kindly Ones and Sandman: Deluxe Edition vol. 4.
The story is more of a tour of the Dreaming. An unnamed dreamer in a hotel room, struggling with nightmares, somehow gets into Dream's castle, where Lucien mistakes him for a new worker and shows him around.
