Philip Sitz was an editor of the Chaste magazine and a fan of serial killers.

History[]

Philip was an "editor, writer, whatever" of an edgy magazine called Chaste which featured Nazi imagery and was apologetic of serial killing. Fascinated by his idols, in 1989 Philip decided to infiltrate their convention to learn their ways. He managed to get his hands on the invitation intended for Bogeyman, who at that point had been dead for three years, and showed up under his name.

His charade wasn't very convincing: Philip failed to remember Bogeyman's defining character traits while trying to interview Flay-by-Night and was a bit too enthusiastic in his gushing over the famous names. However, it was the Corinthian who exposed him: the nightmare knew about the real Bogeyman's demise. The Corinthian shared his insight with Flay-by-Night and then with Nimrod, and the three decided to neutralize the threat.

During one of the panels, the trio asked Philip to talk to him in his suite, where they confronted him about his identity, knocked the fanboy out and drove him out to the woods. Philip pleaded that he only came to them to learn, trying to cite what he thought was the serial killers' philosophy, to which the Corinthian replied: "Very well. We'll teach you... we're going to take turns". Philip didn't live to see another day.[1]
