History[]

Separated from Rose[]

In 2015, Jed and Rose were packing clothes in preparation for their move to New Jersey. However, their mother revealed that their father insisted that Jed remain with him in Florida and told Rose to say goodbye to her brother. At some point, Jed's father died and he was taken in by his Uncle Barnaby and Aunt Clarice. Fast forward to 2021, Jed was running down the road screaming for help when he came across his Aunt Clarice, revealing to her that Barnaby Farrell threatened to lock him away in the cellar. Jed pleaded with Clarice to help him escape, but Barnaby pulled up and ordered Jed into his trunk.[1]

Rescued by The Corinthian[]

Jed with The Corinthian

Jed dreamed of being a superhero named "The Sandman," with his mother as his partner in crime. Unbeknownst to Jed, what who he thought was his mother was actually a nightmare named Gault. On his mission, Jed was attacked by a group of rats from the sewer before awakening from his sleep to discover that he was being bitten by an actual rat. Locked in the cellar, Jed called up to his Aunt Clarice and Uncle Barnaby, but his calls for help went unanswered. However, after learning that his caseworker Eleanor Rubio was stopping by the house, Jed devised a plan to hide a note in her purse. Unfortunately, Barnaby discovered the note and punished Jed by locking him in the basement and planning to break every bone in his body later. Jed later crossed paths with Rose in his dreams as Dream takes Gault away. After getting Jed's location from Rubio and killing her afterwards, The Corinthian arrived at Barnaby and Clarice's house where he killed them and made off with Jed.[2]

Reunited with Rose[]

Jed meeting Fun Land

Jed and The Corinthian arrived at a hotel for the Cereal Convention in Georgia. There, he called Rose to inform her of his location. After a brief exchange with Fun Land, who unbeknownst to Jed, was a child predator, he was taken to their room, where The Corinthian advised him to stay put. However, Jed did not follow his instructions and left the room, during which point, he stumbled upon The Corinthian, The Good Doctor, and Nimrod killing the imposter Boogeyman. Jed fled and ran right into the arms of Fun Land, who offered to hide Jed in his room. However, Jed instead reunited with his sister. Upset, Fun Land grabbed Jed by his jacket, refusing to let him go until Jed elbowed him and escaped with Rose, though Fun Land proceeded to chase after them and cornered them at the end of the hall, where he was then stabbed in the back and killed by The Corinthian.[3]

The Corinthian assured Jed and Rose that he meant them no harm. In fact, he sought to protect them from Dream who wanted to kill Rose. So Rose and Jed remained hidden in their hotel room during which point, they fell asleep and Rose proceeded to bring down the walls between dreams, creating one shared dream between all the serial killers at the hotel. Fortunately, she managed to bring the walls back up before waking up and escaping the hotel with Jed who she informed that their mother had died from an illness. During their departure, they find that Dream had done away with the Corinthian and took away the delusions of the serial killers. While in their car, Jed and Rose saw Nimrod commit suicide by gunshot. Jed and Rose then headed to the hospital where Lyta had gone into labor. That night as they slept, Rose brought the walls down once more, again creating a shared dream between all the house guests, who were then consumed by a vortex, including Jed. Their Unity Kinkaid showed up and offered to take the vortex back into her in exchange that Dream doesn't kill Rose. The following morning, Jed and Rose visited Lyta in the hospital, where she had given birth to a baby boy, before returning to New Jersey.[4]
