Ishtar also know as Belili is an ancient Mesopotamian Goddess of Love, War and Beauty, primarily known for being the lover of The Endless Destruction.
History[]
Relationship with Destruction[]
More than two thousand years ago, Ishtar and Endless Destruction fell in love and began a long relationship, however, Destruction's brothers, especially Dream, saw Ishtar as a bad influence on him and did not approve of their relationship, finally Dream convinced him to break off the relationship with her, which really hurt Ishtar since she truly loved him.
Last Dance[]
Thousands of years later, Dream and Dellirium began to search for Destruction and went to the club where Ishtar worked as an exotic dancer to ask her if she knew anything about him. Dream saw her in her dressing room and asked her a question and a warning. The question was where he was. Ishtar told him that she hadn't seen him for centuries. Dream replied that that wasn't her answer. She tells him that she has no idea where he is, since only an oracle could know where he is.
Ishtar asks Dream about the warning and he tells her that there is someone who is killing everyone who seeks or knows something about Destruction, Ishtar realizes that he made her an easy target but he tells her that he doesn't know that.
Ishtar decides to dance for real one last time and begins to undress, she tells Dream that she really loves Destruction, if she dies that night she will do so as a goddess and if she survives she will try to live like one, after finishing undressing she lights a candle near the curtains and leaves her dressing room wearing a fine white tunic. She goes up on stage and begins to perform a great captivating dance that enchants everyone in the nightclub and they can't stop looking at her, while Ishtar dances she begins to release luminous divine energy from her body with each movement and turn the energy grows larger and larger, the fire in her dressing room expands to the stage but she doesn't stop dancing, the gas tubes explode and reach the fire finally the nightclub explodes, her dance consumed the power she had left causing Ishtar to be destroyed along with the club.

Ishtar is a beautiful woman with Mediterranean skin, brown eyes made up with kohl and short hair with the tips dyed bright red.

Ishtar is a woman of mysterious and eloquent behavior, she longs for her golden years in ancient times as well as for Destruction with whom she was deeply in love.
