The House of Whispers is the houseboat belonging to voodoo deity Erzulie.
History[]
The houseboat used by Erzulie Fréda is where the spirits of Voodoo followers go when they sleep to beseech the goddess to grant them their hearts' desires and counsel them on their futures and fortunes. Usually supplicants find a party in full swing, with guests both fabulous and fierce. There is food, and loud music, and Erzulie.
When the dream river upon which it sails turns tumultuous, Erzulie's houseboat is tossed from her realm and into another.
The House was later revealed to have been originally created by Despair and the house is the twin to Despair’s other creation, the House of Watchers.
