Death: The Time of Your Life is a miniseries spin-off of The Sandman centered around Death. It was written by The Sandman writer Neil Gaiman, and ran from April to June 1996.
Synopsis[]
For a young singer named Foxglove, super-stardom is beckoning at the cost of keeping her true self hidden from the world. For her partner, Hazel, fame is opening an ever-growing distance between them, a gulf that she cannot find a way to bridge. And for their child, time has run out altogether, unless an impossible bargain can be struck with the most implacable force in existence.
Their one hope is in the one lesson which Death knows so well -- that love, like life, requires sacrifice.
