Beelzebub is a demon appearing in Preludes and Nocturnes. It is based on the demon of the same name from Abrahamic religion.
History[]
Beelzebub is one of Lucifer Morningstar's co-rulers of Hell; part of the triumvirate formed by itself, Lucifer, and Azazel after a civil war in Hell destabilized the realm.
When Morpheus came to Hell in search of his helm, the culprit was identified as Choronzon, captain of Beelzebub's horde.[1] Beelzebub was not seen again, and as Choronzon joined with Azazel after Lucifer abdicated his throne, it is unknown what happened to Beelzebub afterward.
